I’m Sam, a personal coach with 18 years experience of navigating life in Barcelona
Originally from England, I’ve called Barcelona my home since 2007. My career has spanned roles from the British Consulate to a robotics start up and now as a coach I draw on that varied experience to support people through real-life transitions, challenges, and growth.
As a mum of four young children, living in a country that’s not my own without close family nearby, I find the summer holidays really difficult and overwhelming. I’m not great in the heat, my house has no air conditioning and when my kids fight I feel like I’m losing the plot.
Add to that, I coparent my children, so when they’re with me, it’s all on me!! One of my many reasons for changing career is the incompatibility between full time work and summer holidays. Combining entertaining children with full time 9.00 to 18.00 work sent me over the edge!
That’s why I created The Summer Reset — because I don’t think you should have to feel that lonely or overwhelmed. This program is a space to catch your breath, reset your mindset, and build emotional strength that helps you respond calmly when your kids are pushing your buttons and also gives you the headspace to quietly prepare for your next chapter in September.
